Warner Commercial is pleased to announce that RAK Brewing is leasing more space in Carroll Creek Business Park, but we are even more pleased to announce that now you can play corn hole rain or shine! And so much more.

RAK Brewing has expanded. This new 9,000+ square foot space is allowing RAK to free up space in the RAK Lounge that was used for distribution which started last summer, "We're trying to get more product out and by dedicating some new space toward this end, we can do that and provide a commercial kitchen to meet the needs of our food partners and customers," explained Joe Gatewood, owner.

In addition, RAK Yard will open in a large portion of the newly leased space during the first quarter of 2025 and offer an unparalleled experience in Historic Downtown Frederick. "It will be a place to hang out, enjoy food & drinks and play games," explains Gatewood. "We're looking forward to having an ideal refuge for rainy, wintry and hot days. "

RAK Lounge was their first space at Carroll Creek Business Park and offers a more upscale feel than most breweries. In the new space, the intent is to bring the outside inside and give people something to do. In stark contrast, the "electronics off" vibe of RAK Lounge, the new RAK Yard will have TV screens, turf, gaming area, bocce, corn hole, shuffleboard and darts, according to Gatewood.

Since they opened in December of 2023, RAK has been coordinating food trucks, but now with a commercial kitchen space, they will be able to offer DOP Pizza the opportunity to expand their menu and have food whenever the Lounge or Yard is open, as well as offering the space for special events.

RAK Lounge and soon to be opening RAK Yard, are located along Brewers Row on Carroll Creek. If you haven't checked out their brews and space, head toward ATTABOY BEER at Carroll Creek Business Park and you can't miss them, right across from McCutcheon's Apple Products.

"The community and downtown Frederick is awesome," says Gatewood. "While we were 'late' to the game, each brewery offers something unique and we need each other to provide a destination. It's been pretty exciting to do what we have been able to do so quickly and we're enjoying it."

"We are excited to add RAK's community centric brewery and event assets to the Carroll Creek Business Park," adds Jonathan Warner. "This end of Carroll Creek offers so many brewery, event and food options, RAK's expansion is sure to be a welcome addition with a twist."
